The Village Hall
Blundeston and District Local History Society was formed in 1975 under the Chairmanship of the Revd Dr Edward C Brooks of Somerleyton.
The inaugural meeting was held at the Lothingland Middle School on 8th October at which the guest speaker was George Ewart Evans.
The membership subscriptions were — full £1 OAP 20p and students 10p.
Present subscriptions are still very attractive at £5.00 per year.
If a guest would like to come to any meeting a charge of £2.50 is made.
The only exception to the above is at the Buffet evening held at the March meeting, when there is a £2.50 charge for members and £3.50 for guests.
